I will say this, from what I know skydiving is very safe. But, and there is always a but...sometimes things go wrong. Gerardo Flores was only 30 sec into his 30th jump when he felt a jerk as his shute unexpectedly opens at 13,000 feet. Then, Gerardo passed out in the middle of the free fall....
