Here's what I hope, because Iv'e been such a fan of Katt's stand up since the beginning, long before the world knew who he was. I hope this is all some sort of crazy, out of control joke on all of us and the media. But, somthing tells me.....it's drugs. Katt Williams announced that he is retiring from stand-up comedy.

He said, "I'm just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up. I'm kinda done. I've discussed it with my kids, I wasn't gonna do in the middle of a Seattle street, I was going to go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or LiveNation."

Williams has had several run-ins with the law over the past six years, as well as several botched performances.

Three of his fans also claimed that he attacked them after they tried to take a picture with him.
