Ashley Tisdale's is freaking out ... after some nutty fan sent more than 18,000 tweets to her and then showed up to her home, TMZ has learned. 

Law enforcement tells TMZ... the LAPD has launched an investigation after a person in Ashley's camp reported that some nut job had tweeted her 18,888 times, dating back to November, 2012.

The tweets are pretty creepy:

"My body is yours & even as friends I f***in love how I make u feel like mom maybe we both got issues cuz nobody's perfect."

"I'll never lose u baby even in 20 years til infinity you'll always b my best friend."

"Let it all out on me u can have my heart put a lock on it throw away the key & my soul is yours to keep."

Even worse ...TMZ learned that the nut job recently showed up to Ashley's house ... but we don't know if he ever made contact. 

Cops have identified a suspect -- and are looking to talk to the person to determine whether he poses a serious threat to Ashley.

Ke'Andre Varner, a Riverdale High School student in Georgia found himself in trouble after posting a mugshot of his principal on Instagram. He said he had time to kill in class and after his buddy found a mugshot of their principal, he decided to post it. The Instagram shot went viral, and when followers asked why she was arrested he chose his words carefully writing:

"I thought that she had gotten arrested for DUI instead of me actually putting that she actually got arrested for DUI." Regardless of how it was worded, Miller-Brown was not arrested for a DUI. Her arrest was for missing a speeding ticket court date.

Sounds to us like she was just trying to get back at him...Mugshots are public

Russia on Tuesday announced that it detained an American diplomat that it suspected was a CIA agent. Russia's Federal Security Service accused Ryan Fogle, a third secretary at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, of trying to recruit spies.

The photos below were taken during Fogle's arrest and show many of the materials he was caught with. Among them were two wigs, three pairs of sunglasses, and a compass. He was also carrying a large sum of money and written instructions.

The website Russia Today, which is run by the state, also posted a video of the arrest, which features Fogle wearing a rather conspicuous blonde wig. Watch the video above.

ESPN unveiled a digitized preview of what its new SportsCenter set will look like and, holy shit, it's huge.

Next year, ESPN will open up its new "Digital Center 2," which will cost more than $125 million to build, reports Those Guys Have All The Fun co-author Jim Miller. SportsCenter will be housed in the 193,000 square foot building. ESPN unveiled the studio today at its upfront presentation with typical restraint:

WASHINGTON (TBO.com) - Federal accident investigators recommended today that states cut their threshold for drunken driving by nearly half, matching a standard that has substantially reduced highway deaths in other countries.

The National Transportation Safety Board said states should shrink the standard from the current .08 blood alcohol content to .05 as part of a series of recommendations aimed at reducing alcohol-related highway deaths.

More than 100 countries have adopted the .05 alcohol content standard or lower, according to a report by the board's staff. In Europe, the share of traffic deaths attributable to drunken driving was reduced by more than half within 10 years after the standard was dropped.

Justin Bieber made a cameo appearance on "The Simpsons" this weekend.

In the episode, Justin tried to get into a talent show where Bart was playing piano.

Creator Matt Groening said: "It's just a cameo. This sentence is longer than his appearance."

Groening actually requested that Bieber be worked into an episode because he has a family member who is a fan of the Biebs. Bieber had also met Groening and wanted to be on the show. Justin actually did the voice work for the episode last year.

Over the weekend, he posted a pic on Twitter of his "Simpsons" character standing next to an animated version of his manager, Scooter Braun.
