GASPARILLA 2013
300,000 people, music with 93.3FLZ, drinks, & of course the beads!
The day started on 4 hrs of sleep for me, getting in from mixing at the Hard Rock Cafe at 6am. Slammed a huge coffee then took off trying to outsmart the traffic to get to Bayshore blvd. Finally found my way & met up with Brian Fink on Desoto ave. & he was convinced we were gonna get towed even with our parking passes in hand. Got to the 93.3FLZ tent, set up with a mic & turn tables for us to blast out hits to all of Bayshore.
1pm rolled around & we had just got done grubbing at the Clear Channel party & the speakers were powered up. Playing to large masses of people is my fav bc of the engery you get back, which makes you play that much harder! 2pm the Gasparilla parade started, It's pretty much standard when the 93.3FLZ float comes by that everyone from FLZ always throws a ton of beads my way to try and get the records to skip (which is always a treat..mixing and dodging beads lol) Brian Fink & I banged out tracks till 4pm & got to hang with my buddy 3LG!

Gasparilla 2013 was an awesome time, our cars didn't get towed, & I even had time to smoke a Fuente cigar.
