I think I hit the motherload with this one, guys. I found a recipe for BACON LASAGNA!! Cue the angels singing!!
And let it be know...this is not for the calorie counter. This thing is packed with bacon, cheese, beef, more cheese. And it was amazing.
Cook the beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the bacon, tomato sauce, tomatoes; cook until heated through.
Using a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish, layer 3-4 noodles, cover the noodles with a layer of meat sauce and then a layer of cheese. Repeat layers twice. Dot the 2nd layer with the Ricotta cheese. Make sure you have enough cheese to TOTALLY cover the top. Don't be shy with it.
Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Uncover; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until bubbly. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting. Yield: 1 casseroles (12 servings)
Say HIIIIII to the bacon inside! Omg it made it taste smokey and ish. I'm obsessed.
