Okay this one probably needs some explanation...

Toonami was one of the first action-anime blocks ever on Cartoon Network... Midnight Run was midnight (duh) on Saturdays and was slightly more adult; a lot of shows like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing, and even some longer-form anime got the most exposure on cable at the time through the Toonami Midnight Run.  There were also some between-show features like game and DVD reviews done by "T.O.M.", the host/pilot of the block.

Anyway that went away in 08 and fanboys everywhere cried.  Until last night, when [adult swim] decided to bring it back and not really tell anyone, complete with produced bumps and T.O.M.:

And they even reviewed Mass Effect 3, which reminds me that I haven't had time to play a real video game in over four years...

Also, if the intro didn't make sense to you: the last few years, [adult swim] has taken to showing Tommy Wiseau's The Room in some form for April Fool's Day.  That's the titles from the movie in the first few seconds. Good fakeout, [as].
