AIDS Walk Tampa Bay was known as AIDS Walk St. Petersburg.
The name change came from wanting to include the entire Bay Area. ASAP has the privilege of serving clients from all over, not just Pinellas County.
Walkers participate as teams or individuals collecting donations for the walk.
Water Stations will be provided and staffed by local business and volunteer groups.
Dogs are welcome, but understand the dog must be strong enough to endure a 3.1 mile walk on hot concrete in mid morning. Water bowls will be positioned along the walk route.
AIDS Walk Tampa Bay's fundraising goal for 2012 is $125,000
