The Wanted is playing up its boy band image. The group's new music video for "Walks Like Rihanna" is a tongue-in-cheek parody of some well-known 90s moments. Max, Jay, Nathan, Tom and Siva impeccably recreate classic boy band music videos - right down to the shoes on their feet.
In one scene, the group's members are strung up like marionette puppets in a theater, much like *NSync's 2000 video for "Bye Bye Bye." The boys duplicate the exact outfits worn by the former boy band in the original video, with Tom in the center playing J.C. Chasez in a silver denim suit.
In another scene, the Wanted takes on the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way." Max plays the role of A.J. McLean, donning a white tank and fedora, and the group even copies the video's original dance moves.
