The Jonas Brothers are officially splitting after cancelling their tour earlier this month due to what their manager described as a "deep rift" between the group.
Kevin Jonas said: "It's over for now."
Joe said: "It was a unanimous decision."
And Nick said: "It's really hard to say 'forever,' but we're closing a chapter, for sure."
People magazine reported that things between the brothers came to a head during a business meeting a few weeks ago. That's when Nick told his older brothers that he had concerns about their future. He said: "I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers."
By the way, it interesting that Nick pulled the plug because the group actually was created because of him. He was a child star on Broadway at the age of 7 and was shopping around demos when Columbia Records ending up signing the brothers as a group.
Throughout the drama, there have also been rumors about Joe Jonas's health and well-being when he was seen with an addiction specialist.
