With almost 40 million followers, pop singer Lady Gaga has now an inactive Twitter account that shows a message confirming the singer no longer continues to use the social media outlet.
Once known for controversial tweet messages, a reflection of her peculiar choices of wardrobe and lavish concert setups, Lady Gaga doesn’t have a current profile picture any longer. An egg icon occupies her profile photo space.
Her last visible tweet was posted on February 6th, which referred to her new album yet to be released ARTPOP.
Twitaholic.com places Lady Gaga’s account in third place trailing by pop artists Justin Bieber and Katy Perry on first and second place respectively, forming the three accounts with the most followers on Twitter. The top five include as well the accounts of United States President Barack Obama, and singer Rihanna.
The once before highly active on Twitter, Lady Gaga has left her monsters fans shocked by the change on her account which leads to speculation if such tactic is part of creating suspense before the launch of her new album.
