PINELLAS PARK (970 WFLA) -- A Florida Highway Patrol trooper is unhurt, after drawing his gun on a suspect at a cemetery.

The FHP says it happened at the Royal Palm Cemetery, on Gandy Boulevard at I-275, near the boundary between Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg, around six this morning.

The suspect has been taken to a hospital, but a condition hasn't been released. The Highway Patrol and Florida Department of Law Enforcement are investigating, and say they'll reveal more information in the form of an official statement.
