(St. Petersburg, Fla. - WFLA) A St. Petersburg man was arrested for Lewd and Lascivious Battery on a victim under 16 today.
Police say 32 year old Leonard Bame committed the Battery on the victim at his residence on the evening of 4/9/2014.
During the investigation, officials said it was discovered Bame met the victim through his employment as a promoter for teen parties held at Caf Charlie in Clearwater.
The victim, along with other juveniles, assisted Bame in the promotion of these parties, according to authorities. Bame would often pick up the juveniles from school and take them to various locations to promote the gatherings, officials said.
Due to his frequent contact with children and other information obtained during the investigation, it is believed there may be more victims, police said.
