UPDATE: HCSO: Dillard's department store located at Brandon Westfield Mall has been reopened.

BRANDON, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Hillsborough County deputies said they had to lock down the Dillard’s at the Brandon Mall after burglary suspects from Manatee County ran inside the store.

HCSO said at approximately 12:11 p.m. Monday, Manatee County Sheriff's Office notified HCSO that they were pursuing burglary suspects northbound on interstate 75.

At approximately 12:26 p.m., deputies said the suspect vehicle was attempting to exit interstate 75 at highway 60 when they failed to negotiate the exit ramp and slid off the roadway.

Deputies said the three suspects, all men, bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot. Deputies said the suspects then entered the Dillard's department store prompting the lock down and all employees were evacuated.

Deputies said they have two people in custody and just found the third suspect hiding in the luggage section.

At 2:00 pm, HCSO said Dillard's store will remain shut down for several more hours, deputies said.
